Allison Bishop, better known as Allie, is a former English-class flunkie turned ESL teacher turned author with a dangerous affection for twisted stories and an even more dangerous relationship with spelling.

Her debut novel Hell Hound Alice began as a scrappy high school short story that somehow survived a few hard drive crashes and grew into a full-blown exploration of survival, identity, and memory. Whether she is writing dark fantasy, speculative fiction, or chaotic comedy, Allie builds worlds that mix grit, humour, and heart, usually with at least one bad decision and a few questionable characters.

Outside of writing, she is a lifelong reader, horror game junkie, movie fanatic, hobby chef, and fierce burger enthusiast. She loves dogs, hot sauce, and the occasional long stare into space when zoning out between projects. You will usually find her overthinking, laughing at her own jokes, or dying repeatedly in a Dead by Daylight lobby.
